Frequently Asked
Questions
I
would like to pick up a printed copy of the class
schedule. Where can I pick one up?
Catalogs are
available in grocery store lobbies and many
businesses all over the Denver metro area. We are
also available in free publication boxes on the
street. You can, of course, stop by our offices and
get a catalog.
I
made a request to be on the mailing list, but I
still haven't received a catalog.
It can take 6 to 8 weeks from the time you request a
printed catalog before you receive one. We send out
our schedules via bulk mail. There are eight
catalogs mailed per year.
I
am no longer receiving catalogs in the mail. Why
not?
Unless you have
requested to be removed from our mailing list, you
will continue to receive catalogs for approximately
eighteen months from the date of your last
registration.
Where can I find the most current class information?
This web site
automatically reflects any changes that we have for
a class. If new sections for a class have been added
or new courses created, they will show up online as
soon as they are available. If a section of a class
has been cancelled, that section does not appear on
the schedule of classes.
Can
I transfer or cancel a registration online?
No, you must call
our office. Please see our
policies.
What is the address of the class that I want to
take?
Both the printed
schedule and the online site list the general area
of town that a class is located so that you have an
idea of where you’ll be going for a class. Exact
locations and directions are given once you have
registered for a class. The directions are printed
on the receipt that you will receive for your class.
If you register online, your receipt will be in a
PDF document that is attached to the e-mail you
receive after registration. Some locations may have
been changed from what is printed in the schedule.
The area of town listed on the web site is the
current location. Maps to our main Lowry and
downtown campuses are located here.
I forgot my user
name and password. Help!
Previously enrolled
students:
If you don't know your ID number and password, you
can request that they be emailed to you. You can
select the link that follows, or go to any page that
lists classes. Select the My Account button then
select the

A system generated username and password will
automatically be assigned to you.
What is my user ID number and what is it used for?
In order to access
your records, we must know who you are. We use your
email address to let you know that we have received
your registration. Your ID number keeps your
information private.
What should I do if my online registration attempt
fails?
Please call our
office during normal office hours (Mon-Thurs
9am-7:30pm, Fri 8:30 – 5:00 pm and Saturdays 8:30 –
1:00 pm) at 303-399-0093 X0.
What are your policies regarding the privacy of my
information?
Protecting the
privacy of our students is a responsibility we take
very seriously and it is important to you that we
keep it confidential.
-
We do not sell,
rent, or give your information to others (except
to CFU teachers).
-
CFU does send
email announcements and e-newsletters to
students who have taken classes with us. You can
unsubscribe from the e-newsletter at any time.
-
The day prior to
the start of your classes, we make a roster
available to teachers listing the names of
students in their class. Your address and phone
numbers are listed on this roster.
-
We do not keep
your credit card number on file. Each time you
register we will need to get your card number
again.
I
registered for a class over the phone and I have not
received the confirmation for the class via
email. Why?
Please be
sure to check your spam/junk email filters.
Our e-mail class confirmations are generated in our
registration software and therefore many of the
web-based e-mail providers do not trust them as
legitimate e-mails.
How do I find my
class once I get to your Lowry campus?
We
have class listings at all three entrances along
with maps of our building. The campus is
divided into three wings (East, West and North).
Follow the signs to your class location.
